Jenny is an Investment Sales Consultant for the Southern region, working alongside Arron Silk and Marie Lawrence.  She focuses on building relationships with Financial Advisors and Discretionary Fund Managers in the South of England. 

Jenny has previously held internships at Polar Capital, Artemis Investment Management and Odey Asset Management. 

Jenny holds a BSC (Hons) Economics degree from the University of Birmingham.

Tom is the CEO of Rathbones Asset Management, having joined us in March 2022 as chief investment officer. Tom has over 25 years’ experience in the industry and joined from Sanlam UK where he was head of asset management. 

Tom spent much of his career as a fund manager with M&G and Schroders before co-founding the investment boutique FOUR Capital Partners, which was then bought by Sanlam. Tom is also Chartered Accountant, having worked at Coopers & Lybrand (now PricewaterhouseCoopers).

Bryn is head of fixed income at Rathbones and is lead manager of the Rathbone Ethical Bond, the Rathbone Strategic Bond and the Rathbone Greenbank Global Sustainable Bond funds. He joined Rathbones in November 2004 from Merrill Lynch Investment Managers, where he managed $2 billion of fixed income assets. Bryn is a member of the Rathbone Strategic Asset Allocation Committee, non-executive chairman of Rathbones' Fixed Income Committee, and an adviser to the Rathbones Banking Committee. He also sits on the Investment Association’s Fixed Income Committee. Bryn appears regularly on CNBC and Bloomberg TV to discuss bond markets. Bryn graduated from Birmingham University with a Bachelor of Arts degree in Geography in 1995.

Carl has managed the Rathbone Income Fund since the 1 January 2000, having joined Rathbones in 1998. He is one of the longest serving managers in the UK Equity Income sector, with one of the best performance records over that time. He has spent two decades holding executive roles within Rathbones Asset Management, and was closely involved in the creation and evolution of the team’s investment process. He is a member of the CFA Institute and a Chartered Fellow of the Chartered Institute of Securities & Investment.

Carl graduated in 1991 from the University of Southampton with a BA (Hons) degree in English Literature, and in 2021 was awarded an MA (Hons) degree in Modern History from King’s College London. A regular triathlete and ultramarathon runner, Carl has completed an Ironman distance triathlon, as well as two runs of the famous Comrades Marathon in South Africa. He and his wife are heavily involved in animal welfare; they have fostered over 60 rescue dogs, have adopted a dozen over the last 10 years, and are connected to New Hope Animal Rescue, a small animal sanctuary near Herne Bay in Kent. And with only a little encouragement, Carl will also tell you he is vegan.

David heads our multi-asset investments team, which manages the Rathbone Multi-Asset and Rathbone Greenbank Portfolio funds. He joined Rathbones in 2007 after spending 19 years with Baring Asset Management, where he managed multi-asset funds and segregated mandates. He began his career with Hambros Bank in 1984.

Will manages the Rathbone Multi-Asset and Rathbone Greenbank Portfolio funds. He joined Rathbones’ charities team in 2007 and was made investment manager in 2011, running institutional multi-asset mandates. He has been with our multi-asset investments team since 2015 and a fund manager since July 2019. Will is a Chartered Financial Analyst (CFA) charterholder and graduated from the University of Manchester Institute of Science and Technology with a BSc Hons in Management.

He joined Rathbones’ charities team in 2007 and was made investment manager in 2011, running institutional multi-asset mandates. He has been with our multi-asset investments team since 2015 and a fund manager since July 2019. Elizabeth joined Rathbones in January 2005, after graduating from the University of Oxford (Lady Margaret Hall).  She holds an MA in Mathematical Sciences.  Having worked for many years as a quantitative analyst, fundamental analyst and latterly as a fund manager, Liz has been promoted to the role of Investment Risk Director for Rathbone Unit Trust Management .

She profiles risk across the funds, including areas such as liquidity, investment risk and data analysis, and is charged with ensuring the integrity of information that is provided to clients, institutions and the fund managers themselves. She holds the Investment Management Certificate and is a CFA (Chartered Financial Analyst) Charterholder

Sammy has been the lead manager of an institutional global equity fund managed by Rathbones since November 2018; he is also assistant fund manager on the Rathbone Global Opportunities Fund. Alexandra is the manager of the Rathbone UK Opportunities Fund. She was appointed co-manager in June 2014 and named sole manager in August 2017. Previously she was assistant fund manager on the Rathbone Global Opportunities Fund.  

Alexandra joined Rathbones in January 2007 as an equity analyst, having graduated from the University of Durham (University College) with a BA Hons in Economics. Alexandra is a Chartered Financial Analyst (CFA) charterholder and holds the Investment Management Certificate. She sits on the Rathbones Asset Management Responsible Investment Committee.

Siyuan is a global equity analyst for Rathbones Asset Management who also works on sustainable investment ideas for the Rathbone Greenbank Global Sustainability Fund. Siyuan joined Rathbones in April 2013, having worked as a research analyst for three years in Martin Currie’s emerging markets team. She speaks three languages and is a Chartered Financial Analyst (CFA) charterholder. Siyuan also holds the Investment Management Certificate.  

Siyuan is a global equity analyst for Rathbones Asset Management who also works on sustainable investment ideas for the Rathbone Greenbank Global Sustainability Fund. Craig joined Rathbones in November 2018 and brings with him 15 years of Financial Services experience, including time with Barclays Wealth & Investment Management, and Citibank. Directly prior to joining Rathbones, Craig was a multi-asset portfolio manager at Beckett Asset Management, constructing a range of portfolios for discretionary clients. He is a Chartered Member of the Chartered Institute for Securities and Investment.

Neil Smith is a sustainable investment analyst; he works closely with David and the team to provide in-depth investment analysis with a focus on sustainable investment. He graduated from Plymouth University with a Bachelor of Science degree in law and politics. Neil has over fourteen years’ experience working for Rathbones Asset Management. He holds the Investment Management Certificate.

Stuart joined Rathbones in September 2017 and was made an assistant fund manager in January 2020, then fund manager in January 2022. Previously, he spent three years at Brown Shipley. He is a Chartered Financial Analyst (CFA) charterholder and holds the Chartered Institute for Securities & Investment (CISI) Chartered Wealth Manager Qualification, having won the CISI Financial Markets & CISI Chartered Wealth Manager Qualification awards at the annual CISI awards in 2016 and 2017 respectively. He was named in the 2018 Citywire Top 30 under 30 investment management awards. He graduated from Bath University with a first-class Bachelor’s degree in Mathematics.

Sarra is a credit Analyst who joined Rathbones in July 2015. She is responsible for providing in-depth credit analysis for the Fixed Income Committee and to investment managers at Rathbones. Sarra covers names from different sectors including financials and corporates but predominantly US banks and European corporates. Prior to joining Rathbones, Sarra completed a summer internship with Goldman Sachs in the Syndicated bank loan division within the operations department.

Sarra graduated from Birmingham University with a Bachelor of Business Management in 2015. She has also achieved a master’s degree in Banking and International Finance with Merit in 2016 from Cass Business School. Sarra holds the Investment Management Certificate and is currently a CFA level 1 candidate (Chartered Financial Analyst).

Elisa joined Rathbones in June 2018 as credit analyst. She is responsible for providing in depth credit analysis for the Rathbone Strategic Bond Fund, the Rathbone Ethical Bond Fund, the new Rathbone Greenbank Global Sustainable Bond fund and part of the Fixed Income Committee.

Elisa has achieved a 2.1 master’s degree in Economics in 2012 from the Universita Degli Studi di Pavia and a postgraduate certificate in Financial Investments in 2014 from London School of Business and Finance.

Prior to join Rathbones Elisa gained a broad range of experiences working as Corporate Actions Analyst, Financial Analyst and OTC Data Analyst in international companies such as Fidelity Investments, FCA Bank and Bloomberg L.P.

Rahab is the Sustainable Multi-Asset investment specialist for the Rathbone Greenbank Multi-Asset Portfolios. She joined Rathbones in 2021, having worked previously as a Junior Responsible Investment Specialist at HSBC Asset Management. Rahab graduated from the London School of Economics with a BSc in Economics, holds the Investment Management Certificate and is a CFA Charterholder.

Rahab is the Sustainable Multi-Asset investment specialist for the Rathbone Greenbank Multi-Asset Portfolios. She joined Rathbones in 2021, having worked previously as a Junior Responsible Investment Specialist at HSBC Asset Management. Jayne Rogers is executive chair of Rathbones Asset Management Ltd (RAM) and Chief Distribution Officer of Rathbones Group.  Jayne works closely with RAM’s chief executive Tom Carroll to oversee the growth of the funds and intermediary businesses, as well as developing and delivering a distribution strategy for the wealth management business. Jayne previously worked for Morgan Stanley Investment Management (MSIM), where she was latterly EMEA head of strategic initiatives. At MSIM she had oversight of strategy, regulation and governance. She chaired the Regulatory Committee and co-chaired the Operating Committee. She also led the integration of strategic mergers and acquisitions. Prior to this, Jayne was head of institutional business, Hong Kong and ASEAN for Robeco Asset Management where she built its institutional distribution across the region. She has also worked for KPMG Investment Advisory, as head of fund manager research, Mercer Investment Consulting, The Wellcome Trust and Adam & Company.

She was then appointed Head of UK Distribution for the newly combined Aberdeen Standard Investments in 2017, where she held overall responsibility for institutional, wholesale and retail distribution, and clients, in addition to the company’s liquidity business. Jacqueline has also sat on a number of subsidiary boards, and is an Investment Funds Committee member for the Investment Association.

Michael has spent his career, spanning over 30 years, in investment management. Over that time he has managed money, and has been responsible for investment and distribution teams. In 2007, he was appointed Investment Director of Thames River Capital, Thames River Multi Capital and Nevsky Capital, where he oversaw investment teams, sales and marketing, and product development. He retired from this position in 2012. Michael is currently a Non-Executive Director of Fidelity Asian Values PLC, Carrington Investments and an adviser to Gresham House Asset Management. He was also formerly a Non-Executive Director of Alquity Investments and the Liontrust Panthera Fund Ltd.

Michael has spent his career, spanning over 30 years, in investment management. Over that time he has managed money, and has been responsible for investment and distribution teams. He retired from this position in 2012. Michael is currently a Non-Executive Director of Fidelity Asian Values PLC, Carrington Investments and an adviser to Gresham House Asset Management. Tom is the CEO of Rathbones Asset Management, having joined us in March 2022 as chief investment officer. Tom has over 25 years’ experience in the industry and joined from Sanlam UK where he was head of asset management. 

Tom spent much of his career as a fund manager with M&G and Schroders before co-founding the investment boutique FOUR Capital Partners, which was then bought by Sanlam. Tom is also Chartered Accountant, having worked at Coopers & Lybrand (now PricewaterhouseCoopers).

Emma joined Rathbones in 2017 to build out Rathbones Asset Management's product capability covering UK and international fund and mandate structures, being appointed to head up the department in 2018 as Head of Product Management. Emma was promoted product director, taking a seat on the Rathbones Asset Management executive in 2019. In January 2021 she was appointed to the wider role of chief operating officer for Rathbones Asset Management, responsible for product, transformation and strategy.

Prior to joining Rathbones Emma was a financial consultant based in London and later New York, charged with delivering complex capital market projects in derivatives trading and corporate finance at UBS, Morgan Stanley, Deustche Bank and Credit Suisse.

Garry Pieters is an ILA-certified, independent director with well over 30 years of experience in the field of finance and asset management. Early 2010 he joined The Directors' Office as a Partner and has several mandates as an independent director and/or conducting officer for a number of Luxembourg funds and management companies. He began his career (1982) in commodities, foreign exchange and money-markets trading at Commerzbank after which he became a portfolio manager of fixed income and money market funds at (what became) ING. He would spend a total of 22 years with ING. In 1994 he moved to Luxembourg and became the general manager of ING Investment Luxembourg. Suman Sharma is the Operations Director at Rathbones Asset Management and the Board Director of the Rathbone Luxembourg Funds SICAV.  She is also a member of the Executive Committee in Rathbones Asset Management.  Suman joined Rathbones in August 2004 as a Unit Trust Senior Technician, prior to which she was working at Investec Asset Management, as a fund accountant.

Will manages the Rathbone Multi-Asset and Rathbone Greenbank Portfolio funds. He joined Rathbones’ charities team in 2007 and was made investment manager in 2011, running institutional multi-asset mandates. He has been with our multi-asset investments team since 2015 and a fund manager since July 2019. Will is a Chartered Financial Analyst (CFA) charterholder and graduated from the University of Manchester Institute of Science and Technology with a BSc Hons in Management.

Craig Brown is the Senior investment Specialist for the Rathbone Multi-Asset Portfolios and Managed Portfolio Service (MPS). Craig joined Rathbones in November 2018 and brings with him 15 years of Financial Services experience, including time with Barclays Wealth & Investment Management, and Citibank. Directly prior to joining Rathbones, Craig was a multi-asset portfolio manager at Beckett Asset Management, constructing a range of portfolios for discretionary clients. He is a Chartered Member of the Chartered Institute for Securities and Investment.

Bryn is head of fixed income at Rathbones and is lead manager of the Rathbone Ethical Bond, the Rathbone Strategic Bond and the Rathbone Greenbank Global Sustainable Bond funds. He joined Rathbones in November 2004 from Merrill Lynch Investment Managers, where he managed $2 billion of fixed income assets. Bryn is a member of the Rathbone Strategic Asset Allocation Committee, non-executive chairman of Rathbones' Fixed Income Committee, and an adviser to the Rathbones Banking Committee. He also sits on the Investment Association’s Fixed Income Committee. Bryn appears regularly on CNBC and Bloomberg TV to discuss bond markets. Bryn graduated from Birmingham University with a Bachelor of Arts degree in Geography in 1995.

James joined Rathbones in 2000, having grown up on the island of Bermuda and graduating from Cornell University in New York. He sits on the Executive Committee of Rathbones Asset Management, is a Fellow of the Chartered Institute for Securities & Investment and holds the Investment Management Certificate.
